Bamboo plants is an evergreen plant. It is easy to maintain the plant and it attracts positive energy, growth and prosperity. Water it once a week sufficiently enough to keep the soil moist at all times. However, over watering the plant will lead to the soil becoming soggy because of which the roots might rot. Furthermore, bamboo plants requires moderate amount of indirect sunlight.
Exposure to extreme sunlight can dry out the leaves. Moreover, it doesn’t require special fertilization and can go with just water for a long time. But, you can add a small amount of fertilizer to it while watering the plant. Exposing the plant to excessive light or fertilizer can lead to yellowing of its leaves. Excess fertilizer also causes the stalk to turn yellow. In case of this, you can get rid of the yellow portion and re-plant the green portion. In addition, if the stalk starts turning brown, it is a sign of root rotting.
